We picked...  The firehouse down the street had it’s open house today. The firehouse had to be rebuilt after getting damaged in the tornado last year. My FAVORITE part was the “smoke” house. Peyton was chosen to be the one to call 911 and FROZE when they asked for his address. The fire alarm was going off...  We did our annual pumpkin carving. Preston was big enough to really join in this year {with a little help from mom}. It’s a fun, relaxing night where we turned on Halloween music, carved, laughed and ENJOYed! Peyton was excited to have his dads help  I think I have laughed more these past couple days then I have in awhile. Having both Grandpa’s for few days has been a real TREAT! They are HILARIOUS, we could keep them FOREVER! I’m trying to convince them that North Carolina is where THEY want to live While they were here we took them...  This has been a MUCH anticipated day … one that has brought much excitement. Peyton {we} were so grateful that the grandparents & Aunt Karen made the sacrifice of time and finances to be here in person to support Peyton on his BIG day. Many were also supporting him in spirit and we are grateful...  I usually don’t take photos during date night, but since my husband looked SO DARN HOT … I HAD TO! Happy Holly’s is a little place we ENJOY going when we are in the mood for some DELICIOUS Hershey’s Ice Cream. Carl got his usual from there ~ cookie dough, Tami ~ Chocolate Peanut Butter & Moosetracks, Kasey ~ blueberry cheesecake, Alanna ~ a snowcone, Peyton ~ Birthday Cake, Preston ~ Birthday Cake. The kids...  Kasey was interested in seeing the high school that Scotty McCreery graduated from. While we were in Garner, NC we decided it would be cool to eat lunch at his favorite restaurant there. It was fun, but the company was even better!  I don’t think there is an easier dinner on a Sunday night then whipping up some pizza dough and letting the kids top their own pizzas … topping choices tonight were pepperoni, ham, pineapple and cheese. Next trip we will plan in advance … there was ONE hotel with an available room {after all it was Memorial Weekend and we were spending it at the beach}. It’s a classic joint {hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, coke float, limeade and ice cream were consumed by our family}. We chose to eat in rather then go with car hop service. This one was a 1000 piece puzzle that we got from someone {Trista or Tara ~ not sure which} but it was in the wrong box. Putting it together without a picture was difficult.
