Monthly Archives: October 2009 >Our ward trunk r treat was fun. Visiting with friends was my favorite part. I think between school today and the trunk r treat tonight … our kids have PLENTY of candy!  >Holy Cow … we have the best playgroups ever. The kids got to do: Slime Making, Balloon Tag, Cupcake Decorating & Bag Decorating – and then candy was put into their bags. Afterward several of us took our kids to Taco Bell for a “healthy” lunch.  >and the Halloween fun begins …for activity day girls they dressed in their halloween costumes, made homemade donuts, played games and had a TON of fun!  >Peyton wore this outfit … from Jack and Ruby Riley. Preston refused to smile, but I still wanted a pic anyway.  >Carl and I were brought breakfast in bed by Alanna & Peyton … yummy scrambled eggs.  > Alanna and Peyton thoroughly enjoyed the time they got to spend with their cousins … and Preston got in some good bonding time with his aunt and uncle today. Of course when we got there to pick them up we couldn’t resist going to dinner with the fam. He likes to put his fingers through the holes and hold on while he sleeps. Is it possible to take too many pictures?  > I have two awesome sisters (THANK YOU Tina & Toresa) who jointly gave me a gift card for a manicure & pedicure for my birthday. This afternoon Peyton and I went to the salon … he got the manicure and I got the pedicure. Awesome afternoon!!!  > We are so grateful for “happy gas”. It helped ease Alanna’s anxiety before and during getting cavities filled. She did a wonderful job at being brave … she has a huge fear of needles and was happy she didn’t need to get pricked. She loved her cherry smelling pig nose.  > We tried Preston out in the jumper for the first time today … and he loved it. How can you not just LoVe this smile? This monitor “Vegas” was sunbathing at the District today. We couldn’t resist stopping to pet and take a pic with him. Peyton passed his test and advanced to purple...  > Peyton has a HuGe love for art. In his free time, he loves to get the crayons, markers and colored pencils out to draw. I think we have gone through an entire ream of paper in the last couple of weeks. He is amazing with the details.  > Carl was asked to join Team #71 just two days before the 12 person / 180 mile relay race. He was excited that he had already been running several mornings a week for the past month so he was ready. They started in Logandale, ran through Valley of Fire and ended at Red Rock...  >We are so proud of Cody for making the decision to be baptized tonight. Jeremie and Tina thru a wonderful birthday party for him and Haleigh afterwards with a jump house, pizza, cookies and lots of good conversation. I didn’t get my camera out … so thanks Aunt Jolene for taking so many wonderful pics....  > Today the kids didn’t have school because it was Staff Development Day. Alanna and I started the day having our teeth cleaned.
