If there is an iPad in sight … he must have it. He was watching Pete’s Dragon and chillin. I’m not sure where he found his dad’s hat, but I thought it was cute the way he put it on his own head.
Monthly Archives: January 2011 Kids first time eating Steak N Shake. We took them for “take out” shake n fries for Family Home Evening. They loved it … not sure what I was thinking when I didn’t get Preston a shake. It was probably because he was asleep in the stroller, but when he woke up; I lost my...  We were admiring the burro from a distance. It took only seconds and the sweet thing had it’s head sticking in our window. The boys thought it was the neatest thing!  It was rather enjoyable to stop for a little bit and just hang with my dear husband. We used to do puzzles pretty often and it was fun to take the time out to do one. For Christmas my mother in law gave us the neatest puzzle board with drawers that pull out. It sure...  Grandma Huntsman’s funeral was today. It was beautiful and I enjoyed hearing stories that I hadn’t heard before. It was wonderful to catch up with the Clinton’s and others that were there. The kids had school so we ran up with Preston. He entertained himself during the family luncheon pushing the rolling trash can around...  Alanna had a family project to build a “functioning” robot. Her and Carl planned it all out … and it came out perfect.  Today was the first “real” step in figuring out Peyton tummy aches. We went for an xray … next is the gastroneurologist. I can’t believe how much he is looking forward to seeing the “tummy” doctor.  Preston was a snuggle bug and didn’t want to leave my arms today. My lap was where he wanted to take his nap … yep, he’s the “baby”!  I’m not sure why most of the photos I seem to take are of my kids eating or sleeping. Today we enjoyed a Slurpee run and a beautiful sunset.  Preston is so attached to his “blankie” and goes nowhere without it. Today, he didn’t want to get in the bath without it but had to. The moment he was out, it was snuggled to his neck … it was made by the super talented Allyson … dancingangelsquilts@gmail.com  We threw a surprise party for Kasey … and until right before she had no idea. Next time I’ll make sure Peyton doesn’t overhear me talking to another mom. He asked three or four different times “when will Madison be here?”. My reply of “she’s not coming, it’s a family night” just sparked him to...  Today was a day of paying bills, balancing the account, updating the spreadsheet, scanning and shredding. Preston passed the time by pulling out drawers under the desk where I was working. He’d continuously climb in and out & had a blast. I love he’s still little enough to enjoy being my shadow.  Wow … today was a bit of a roller coaster day, but ended on a positive note! I think Carl has been waiting for Yogi Bear to come out at least as much as the kids have.
