Monthly Archives: April 2011 I committed to going on this field trip with Alanna before I knew of my surgery date. I also didn’t expect it to be as invasive as it was … but prayed I would make it through. I was glad to follow through keeping my word and the time I was able to spend focused...  I can’t describe how SAD I was that surgery didn’t not get done in time for me to make it to Peyton’s Barnyard Moosical play at school. Surgery took almost four hours and recovery was more difficult then expected. I got home just minutes before the kids did. I was EXTREMELY grateful my amazing sister...  Mr. and Miss Martin have been a HUGE blessing in our lives. They give Peyton so much love and discipline. He loves them and gains so much confidence as he advances and improves in his taekwondo skills. He’s been with them for two years, completed the Tiny Tiger Program getting his black belt and is...  We have boxes galore … some packed, some not. The ones that are not yet full, but ready are Preston’s favorite ones to try and hide in.  Preston wrote on the office door with highlighter … and so obediently washed it off  Today Alanna participated in Career Day. She has known for years now that she wants to be an Anesthesiologist. If she stays focused, she will reach her goal and do amazing things. I can’t express adequately in words how much she means to me and the depth of my love for her. Ms. DaDurka and...  Peyton was so excited when he was able to order MANY frosty’s in the quantity and flavor of his choice … luckily they fit well in the freezer!  This afternoon was pretty cool. I went to take Alanna to dance and there was a guy laying on our grass. He was from out of town and got lost after riding his friends bike to the store and then couldn’t find his way back. To top it off, his cell phone was dead. He...  I was so grateful to see Carl walk through those waiting room doors. How he has been balancing things lately, I am amazed by. I didn’t think we’d see him at the hospital, but he was able to be there while Peyton was in “recovery”. Walking through those doors to go back to see our...  Peyton is having his tonsils and adenoids removed as we speak. I am sitting in the waiting room, not too nervous but can’t wait to see him in recovery. He did such a good job this morning waking up early and following the nurses instructions. I’ve never really seen him nervous, but he was so...  Preston is just so freakin cute … I just love him! His new favorite shows are clifford & elmo  He loves Toy Story so much that he will stay glued from start to finish … I thought the way he was laying was cute! I put a smile on my face this morning and photographed the services for a beautiful five month old princess. I unexplainably love her parents more then I thought possible. I secretly pray that I don’t ever have to experience the deep pain and sorrow they feel. I don’t know what else to say to... I had an Arthogram MRI on Friday. It was excruciatingly more painful then an epidural. The Dr was great, found the first two joint pockets the first time and took several tries to get the needle precisely where it needed to be in the third joint pocket.
