Monthly Archives: May 2011 Today I went with Alanna on her last elementary school field trip. We went to Hoover Dam and the weather was beautiful. It was fun to focus on her and see her interact with her friends. My kids are growing up WAY too fast ~ I wish there was a way for me to freeze...  This weekend was amazing with the family. We drove up to Brianhead, stopping in St. George to buy Peyton a 90. The kids rode quads at Strawberry on Saturday. Sunday the girls did their online study and test to get their OHV permits, I had a two hour deep tissue massage, the kids spend forever...  Tonight, Kasey had her end of the school year orchestra concert. She has become quit the violinist, so much so that her teacher recommended her for advanced orchestra next year, which means she would skip intermediate. This school year she has grown and blossomed so much, advanced from primary to young womens and met her...  We celebrated Jake’s first birthday today. The kids loved decorating their cupcakes, playing the games (water race, three legged race and playing with cousins). Afterwards we had lunch at Firehouse Subs and then went back to Grandpa Slack’s to roast hot dogs, marshmallows and running around his yard.  He finds it funny when I get his toes … it’s absolutely hilarious ~ I LOVE his giggle!  Preston is easily entertained … all it takes is an iPad. He patiently waited for the pediatrician to tell us he had a double ear infection  Alanna had another field trip … this one to Red Rock. The weather was perfect and it was nice to breath the fresh air. The kids were excited to see the different flowers and a few lizards.  Tried surprising my mom by taking the family to her ward since she was speaking today. I guess she woke up not feeling very well and so she didn’t go. Stopped by her house and called but no answer. Happy Mothers Day Mom!!! We decided to enjoy some Cafe Rio with the kids and I...  Alanna had another orthodontist appointment today. Still no work to be done, a few more baby teeth need to come out and then the fun begins.  I find Preston to be just stinkin cute ~ The bruising is creeping up my fingers, it looks ugly and unfortunately the pain is uglier. |
