Monthly Archives: September 2011 All five of us got our haircuts tonight. Here are before and afters of the kids … I’m biased, but I think they are absolutely adorable!  Alanna watched tv with Carl and I … while the boys watched Hoodwinked Too. They both fell asleep after getting full on their favorite popcorn  Although the only camera I had within arms reach was my phone, it’s grainy and blurry … I’m still greatful that I captured Carl enjoying a pillow fight with Peyton and Preston before work. Oh yes, Preston did participate and loved every minute of it. Peyton talked about it all day long  I’m beginning to feel like I should have committed to the project 52 rather then the project 365 … maybe I’ll switch over. For this week though my subject is … newborn. Probably because I know I’ll never birth another child of my own, I enjoy every second that I get to hold someone else’s...  Alanna and Peyton had their first eye exams today. They both have 20/20 vision, which disappointed Peyton ALOT. He really wants glasses like his cousin Coco Puff. I walked out with the peace of mind their eyes are healthy … and why not, now that we have vision insurance and it was practically free to...  Peyton was given the “responsibility” award today at a special assembly. We are so proud of how hard he works and focuses on doing his best. WAY TO GO PEY PEY!!!  Alanna had to get three vaccinations at her well-check visit today. I’m not sure if I’m alone in this … but my kids DISLIKE shots, period! In hopes of making it less stressful for them, I get them something they want in lieu of them being brave and getting their shots without hitting, kicking or...  the teeny tiny bugs loved to fly around his little nose and ears … he kept saying “no bugs”.  Tonight Alanna and I went to a concert at the rec center with the activity day girls. It was SO LOUD, but good. The girls were able to meet the band and afterwards we took Lilly to get ice cream with us, but Lilly hid from the camera  I had my post-surgery appointment today. It seemed to go ok … let’s hope it does it job and with therapy; I’ll be back to my busy, pain free self again!  bugs … bugs, fascinate and slightly scare him at the same time. here he is following them in the cracks.  This week’s subject … Preston. He turned 2 last month and we both had a lot of fun doing his birthday session. |
