Peyton is SOOOO thoughtful and caring about his brothers feelings and they ENJOY spending time together. I couldn’t get over how cute it was that Peyton got Preston a step stool so they could play air hockey together.  Carl loves to eat at mom and pop diners. This trip to Chattanooga was no different. Peyton LOVED his chocolate chip pancakes and Preston DEVOURED his french toast. Breakfast – $25.00, dessert – $2.50, smiles on the boys’ faces – priceless! The cookie was actually mine, but I gladly gave it to Preston when he...  The boys were BEYOND excited to open their gifts from the Gublers … THANK YOU ~ they LOVE them!  I dropped Alanna off at the airport this morning and then we spent the rest of the day just chillin’. We hung out and then took the boys to lunch and for ice cream. Preston LOVES to have his hands traced and then to color them in. I had to snap a picture of Carl...  I had to get my health assessment complete to get the HSA contribution from Carl’s work. As I was working my way through, it asked what the measurement of my waist was??? I didn’t know so I clicked the “don’t know” button. These are the pics that I had to choose from. HUM … not...  The kids slept in a bit longer then I thought they would … just after 7 AM. They enjoyed unwrapping their many gifts … Alanna: scrapbook, stickers, purse, sunglasses, necklace, watch, bracelet, pj’s, sock monkey, several books, cosmetics, just dance 3, card w/ money, magnetic makeup board and more. Peyton: rest of the Wimpy Diary...  We enjoyed starting the day out video chatting with the Slack side of the family. Tye & Tom were so thoughtful and set it up so that we could watch and chat! Grandma was able to watch the kids open their gifts. Since we are so far away from family, we thought it would be...  Today we took the kids to Red Robin for lunch and then to see Arthur Christmas. The food was delicious and the movie was perfect for the holiday season. The kids had a lot of fun and made for a GREAT day  beautiful bookcases: I was so excited to get all of my books up in these beautiful bookcases that my amazing husband bought and put together for me. It will feel good to get the kids books up too! beautiful children: The lunch date I had with the kids today was so sweet. It was nice...  Peyton’s class earned a pizza party from the Huntsman for improving their behavior and “roaring” as a class. If you’re curious what “roaring” means … ask Peyton, he does it WELL! We brought in pizzas, chips and juice boxes. Parents also sent in a variety of fruit. The school also has their “winter fling” this...  I LOVE my children’s art work; in fact I CHERISH it! These are two pieces that Peyton did … and I LOVE them!!!  Our ward Christmas party this year was a good one! The kids role played Joseph & Mary’s journey and the Savior’s birth in the stable. Afterwards, Santa arrived and the kids each got a turn sitting on his lap. It was also really nice getting to know more members in the ward. I LOVE days when my sweet husband works from home. I treasure the quiet alone time we are able to share. Yes, Preston is with us; but he is such an easy going and snuggly boy that it’s still quiet and peaceful. He worked from home today and I was able to have a couple...  Alanna and I both noticed how pretty the moon was tonight as we drove home from activity girls. Too bad we don’t have a lens that would zoom far enough to capture more detail (the different shades and depth). I pulled into the parking lot to see what we could get … for me it... I love the response Preston gives when you ask him a question and he agrees. “oh yah” This morning I asked him if he knew that mommy loves him … his response, “oh yah”. I could squish him all day long. LOVE HIM!  The kids enjoyed decorating the Christmas tree tonight. We attempted to do it a couple nights ago, but couldn’t find the ornament hooks. After new ones were purchased and we were hanging the ornaments … the hooks were found exactly where I thought they were and Alanna had double checkedThey were only $0.97 so it’s...  It was neat to have Carl’s work party be planned around the family. This was a first for our family and boy did they go ALL out! The kids were able to tell Santa what they wanted … at least Alanna and Peyton. Preston had been sleeping and was NOT at all excited to see...  Alanna had her first orchestra concert last night. From where we were seated we couldn’t see her actually performing, but the orchestra sounded so good. She started playing the beginning of this school year and really enjoys her class and her instructor. It was fun to see her instructor interact with the kids today. I...  We spent another weekend in Tennessee, I love being there!!! This time Alanna was able to come with us. Jen & Brandyn welcomed us even though their roof was leaking, their septic tank needed fixing and there lives were chaotic. The kids LOVED it and as I put Preston in his car he repeatedly said,...  It all started with a Relief Society cookie exchange. I baked seven dozen peanut butter blossoms. To make a long story super short, we had a hiccup getting our car dropped off at the shop before we left town and by the time we made it home I was not in the mood to go.... |
